Microdacyn Wound Care Solution is clinically proven to significantly reduce wound healing time. Its formula establishes the optimum wound healing environment, without stinging, staining, irritating, or damaging skin. This solution reduces inflammation and maintains moisture, whilst effectively removing the dirt, debris, and microbes that can lead to infection. 

Microdacyn Wound Care Solution is suitable for acute wounds, including cuts, abraisions, burns, and minor wounds. It is also suitable for chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, slow healing wounds, malodorous wounds, and surgical wounds. Microdacyn can be used on all skin ages and types, and with any wound dressing, including under bandages. It can also be used in combination with Microdacyn Hydrogel for optimal wound hydration.

Super-Oxidized Water, Sodium Chloride (0.022%), Hypochlorous Acid (0.004%), Sodium Hypochlorite (0.004%)

Directions for use

For acute wounds:

1. Apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution liberally to the wounded area to aid in cleaning out debris and foreign material ensuring you are left with a clean, germ-free environment for optimal healing. Do not rinse out.
2. Cover with any dressing and reapply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution at every dressing change or up to 3 times daily until total healing is achieved.
3. Microdacyn Wound Care Solution can also be used to wet adhered dressings to aid in their removal.

For chronic wounds and burns:

1. Generously apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution directly into the wounded area, continue to apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution as any slough or debris is removed.
2. Use Microdacyn Wound Care Solution to soak a piece of gauze of bandage and apply this to the wounded area for 10 minutes, be sure to apply more solution if it begins to dry out. This additional soaking time helps ensure stubborn germs are removed and will help hydrate any additional slough/debris that needs to be removed.
3. Use in combination with Microdacyn Hydrogel depending upon the wound type and the requirement for donated moisture. Microdacyn Hydrogel is to be applied 2-5mm thick and may remain in contact with the wound for up to 3 days. Microdacyn Hydrogel can be rinsed away with Microdacyn Wound Care Solution when redressing.
4. Reapply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution at every dressing change or up to 3 times daily until total healing is achieved.
