Disposing of sharps containers safely: What you should do with your bin once it is full depends on which state or territory you live in. You’ll typically find collection points at public hospitals, health centres, select pharmacies and specific community sharps disposal bin sites. Talk to your GP or pharmacy to find out how to safely dispose of your bin in your area. You can also contact your local council or state government hotline.
