Our clinic has had the opportunity to offer patients the ConvaTec Silesse and Nitac. The 30 patients that were provided with these wipes reported that these products were successful in maintaining the adherence of the sensors for the duration of both CGM and FSL, were more confident in activities of daily living without having to worry about dislodgement and maintained skin integrity. Many of these patients are wearing sensors 24/7. Removal of sensors for some of the patients was an issue and with the Nitac wipe removal was painless. I would strongly support the inclusion of the above mentioned ConvaTec products with both CGM and FSL technology. Any change to make living with diabetes easier and pain free should be at the forefront of any decision.

Thank you for allowing our patients to trial the Silesse and Niltac products. Lucy and I have been using these products quite extensively in our practice and we have received a lot of positive feedback. People particularly like that Silesse does not leave a sticky residue unlike other barrier wipes and sprays, and its use has certainly extended the wear of sensors. We have a number of clients who have had allergic reactions to the glue used in pump infusion sets and CGM. We have previously used a combined approach of topical steroid and a barrier such as Cavillon. It appears that, at least for some patients, the use of Silesse has meant that topical steroid is no longer required. My son, in particular, is a huge fan of Niltac. He no longer needs to shave his legs before strapping to play sport. I his case, we have been using the Niltac spray. My more hirsute patients, who would previously shave, have been using a combination of Silesse for improved attachment and Niltac for removal with good effect. At present patients are buying their products on-line.

Diabetesshop.com only ships within Australia. We use Australia Post eParcel System. For cartons weighing less than 22kg, we will use eParcel as the standard service. This Standard Service is by road freight. For cartons that weigh more than 22kg, we'll use a network of economy road freight couriers for these shipments.
RATES: Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process and will depend on the delivery postcode as well as the total weight of your order.

Exclusions: The following type of orders fall outside our standard and VIP delivery terms:
- Orders weighing more than 1 kg
- Excessively bulky orders.
- Orders weighing more than 22KG
- Orders from STO affiliates (State and Territory Organisations) and wholesale customers.
Please double check that your delivery address is correct. Returned parcels due to incorrect addresses can be subject to a return-to-sender fee of $12 as well as a redelivery charge to resend your parcel.

Next day delivery is only available for orders to limited delivery postcodes within Australia, and can only occur after warehouse processing time of 24 to 48 hours. The same exclusions apply as standard shipping, refer above. All orders are processed in our warehouse within 1-2 business days. Orders are not dispatched or delivered on weekends or holidays. Daily orders close at 3 pm Mon to Friday. If you place your order before 3 pm Mon to Friday, it will be processed by the warehouse the next business day. Orders received after that time will be included in the following day’s order run. For example, if you place your order at 4 pm on Tuesday, it will be added to Wednesday’s order file and despatched to the courier service on Thursday. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.
