DVA Supports Diabetes Management
The State and Territory Organisations of Diabetes Australia have an agreement with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to support Veterans with diabetes management by subsidising diabetes related products and equipment such as blood glucose monitors, lancets, hypo treatments and sharp containersto minimise the impact of living with diabetes.
Am I eligible?
Diabetes is one of the broad categories that is covered by the RAP. You may be eligible for Diabetes related product or equipment if you have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and hold a:
- Veteran Gold Card
- Veteran White Card *
What Diabetes related items are available under RAP?
Aids and appliances that are available to the veteran community are listed in the RAP National Schedule of Equipment, including a range of diabetes-related equipment. The order form attached to this page contains the list of diabetes related products covered by the scheme and available from Diabetes shop.com
Ordering
If you are a DVA cardholder from NSW, ACT, QLD, Victoria or Tasmania and believe you are eligible, simply fill in this form to order your prescribed equipment and email to product@diabetesnsw.com.au. If there are any questions, our product team will contact you. You will not be charged for the equipment or delivery.
